Language Assistant in Arequipa/Cusco
Language Assistant Peru is a cultural exchange programme designed for native English speakers, where you live with a host family and in exchange for your own room and three meals a day, you help the family, usually the kids, with their English studies for around 15 hours during the week. In general, the families are quite affluent; you're looked after very well in lovely family homes.

Spanish lessons in La Paz
If you are not confident about the level of your Spanish to start your voluntary program straight away we suggest you take some classes for at least 2 weeks in La Paz.
You could learn Spanish and do a period of voluntary work at the same time, or one after the other it is up to you.
The program includes language lessons, accommodation in the form of a homestay with Bolivian family and a voluntary placement.
