Volunteering in Bolivia
This is a short video of two of our volunteers in Bolivia. Our aim is to give people an opportunity to experience a different culture and help out in range of communities across Bolivia. Working with deaf children, orphans, to eco projects on Lake Titicaca and the Amazon basin. We hope you find the film inspiring!
Become a volunteer
Come and help out by volunteering to work in some of the poorest towns and cities in Bolivia. Our programs range from social and community projects to conservation and education in rural areas. These are extremely rewarding programs and your experience is sure to be as unique as it is special. The impact you will have on the underprivileged orphaned children, or protected natural habitats, will touch the lives of many. One thing is certain the experience will not leave you. The real challenge, of course, will be leaving it all behind!

Social programs Young Adults / Children
These programs were created to work closely with children and adolescents who are sadly living on the streets in the cities of Bolivia. Not only do they have to survive day to day with precious little food or shelter, but it is also painfully clear that they are lacking some basic human affection. We work only with dedicated organizations that have been involved in helping the children for many years. Their efforts have already helped to reintegrate many children and adolescents back into society by equipping them with new skills and hope of a more positive future. Working with the children will involve you working in an Orphan Institution based in one of the main cities in Bolivia. Your duties will vary between helping with the daily activities of the Orphanage, to encouraging and supporting them in their educational tasks such as School homework, art, or football.

Spanish language program
If you are not confident about the level of your Spanish to start your voluntary program straight away we suggest you take some classes for at least 2 weeks in La Paz. You could learn Spanish and do a period of voluntary work at the same time, or one after the other it is up to you. The program includes language lessons, accommodation in the form of a homestay with Bolivian family and a voluntary placement. The whole experience will be one you will not forget. Not only you learn and get to practice your Spanish every day, you will also gain a great insight into the Bolivian culture rarely experienced by tourists passing through the country. The classes are small taken by local and qualified teachers. If you just want Spanish lessons they are available on request.
